Maintaining a clean pool is one of the best ways of avoiding being infected by diseases. These pools are mostly used by your family members and other people. Therefore it is better if you keep it clean than spending money on hospital bills. Knowing how to clean algae from pool should be in the mind of every pool owner for better outcomes.

Knowing what kinds of equipment you need in dealing with the issue is the first and most important process. Find out all the things you need and make sure you have them ready. Arrange all the equipment according to their use. Being organized will ensure that you do a perfect job. Also, it will help you save time and do other things that are important.

Algae is the most embarrassing things that could infest your swimming pond, this is because they are easily spotted even from afar. They tend to be green in color and usually found on the walls and on the floor of the pond. The only element known for fighting such an embarrassment is chlorine. This is the only substance that will make your puddle water clean. An equipment known as chlorine-based pool shock will be used in adding it in the water.

Brush and wash the floor and walls of the pond before you add the chlorine. Doing this will help you in removing any algae that might have stuck a lot. It will also help you in saving the amount of chemical and time you use in the process. The remaining amount might also be used later or even help a friend who has the same problem.

For the chlorine to work effectively you need to make sure that the ph level of the water in the puddle is between 7.2 and 7.6. A lesser or higher ph level will make the chlorine not to work effectively. Therefore you will waste the substance and get zero results which is not good.

You are required to let the chemicals stay in the water for a maximum of 24-hours. After this time has elapsed drain all the water from the puddle and make sure that you cannot see any greenish appearing from anywhere. For you to be assured that the water is cleaned it will turn to greyish after the 24-hours have elapsed.

The last but not the least important process is to wash all the kits you used. Wash them thoroughly and make sure there is not even a single trace of the algae on them. These green growths tend to reoccur on items used to clean them if they are not well washed after the job. Make sure you do a good job of cleaning the tools if you do not want to have the same visitors in a short period of time.

If you follow the above steps you will be sure to get a clean pond. But the most important thing is to maintain cleanliness in your pool. Wash it as regularly as you can.
