You should purchase a soil test kit to determine whether his or her lawn soil has a PH which can support its growth. Alkaline soil is treated with the addition of lime whereas acidic one can be treated using moss and sawdust. Leave the treated soil for about six months to improve on its PH.

Use the right method to prepare your lawn. A meadow requires being tilled and treated against any weeds in about one month before the plantation process. Make sure you have used relevant herbicides which are suitable for the type of weed in your lawn. Moreover, water the land regularly to keep the place wet.

Acknowledge the best seed preparation method. Broadcasting is the best procedure to plant clovers. These processes require one to mix the seeds with sawdust, soil, and sand to increase the spreading capacity. Make sure that the ratio is fixed to the size of your lawn.

Consider the right planting process. Clovers are supposed to be planted using the broadcast method. This can be done manually in a small garden or done using a spreader in an extensive ground. The place should be raked to a depth of four inches after the spreading is done.
